It was an early start on Sunday, November 5, 2023, when we had to gather, with tractors ready, at 7am, for the Channel 7 Weekend Sunrise film crew to arrive to prepare us to be on national TV.
The interest arose from the welcome news that our unique traning course, Tractoring For Women, had won a SafeWork SA Award.
We had some women tractor owners generously volunteer to be on site for the shoot, which included the filming of some paddock work, namely, Hilary Brookes, Jeannie Wilksch, Jo Gale, Jackie Davies, and Leanne Donoghue.
Our hope is that this program can roll out across the country and initial responses from Channel 7 viewers and other people who’ve learned about the program in a flurry of media coverage this week, suggests there is a very real need out there.
