Farm Fencing 101 with Tim Thompson

After the success of our inaugural Farm Fencing Demo Days in May 2023, you’ve asked us for a complete, back-to-basics fencing course, so we’re making it happen.

Tim Thompson will return to Adelaide Hills & Fleurieu Farm Services, to deliver his special, hands-on, practical fencing workshop that will cover:

1. Choosing your fence configuration
2. How to sight the fenceline and how to identify impediments
3. Knots and related items like Davo Clips, etc
4. Tools
5. Post knocking or digging
6. Running wires out
7. Straining up
8. Hang a gate
9. Electric Fencing

With classes limited to only 20 participants, you’ll get plenty of “Tim time” as you methodically build your skills to help you manage your property better.
